Hello and welcome to Manchester Anxiety Help. First and foremost, please let me reassure you that no matter how long you have suffered with anxiety, whether it's a week, a month or even fifty years you can recover. I have helped people overcome a lifetime of anxiety who had tried every option available to them including different types of medication and a host of alternative therapies. Please read my About me page to learn a little bit more about me and how I got involved in helping people with anxiety disorders. In my opinion the reason many people struggle to make a lasting recovery is because they have not had their condition properly explained to them. People need to be told how anxiety disorders develop and how they unknowingly keep themselves ill - everything must be explained. They need to be shown how the neurology of the brain is affected and how doing certain things can positively re-condition this and how it actually does so; so much needs to be explained. They need to be made aware of the snares that often lie ahead and how to deal with them. Clearing away all bewilderment is the key to helping people completely recover from anxiety disorders. You have only got to look at the increasing number of anxiety and depressive patients across the country to know that the current system we have in place is insufficient. I provide a full understanding of your condition and offer a successful programme of recovery.

What is expected from you?

  • My sessions are extremely informative - in just one session you will gain a thorough understanding of your condition and a structured programme for recovery.

  • I provide ongoing support in between sessions.

  • My therapy is cost effective as I provide such a vast amount of knowledge and guidance in such a short period of time - my aim is to aid quick, long-lasting recovery.

  • My therapy is run in the comfort of my own home in a relaxed, informal and cosy environment.

  • As obvious as it sounds, it is expected that you really want to be completely free of your anxiety. It still amazes me how many people actually believe that you cannot fully recover.

  • That you fully commit to the programme and give it your best shot.

  • That you adapt your lifestyle to the best of your ability in accordance with the programme.

  • That you acknowledge to yourself that anxiety is a problem and that it needs to be addressed.

  • My recovery programme aims to be quick. This is because I believe that most of the 'hard-wiring' comes from your own application and repetition. I give a full understanding of your condition in only one session and provide constant encouragement and advice inbetween sessions.

  • My average number of sessions per client is just three, although, some are quicker and some longer. I do not believe in prolonging therapy unnecessarily.

  • The general structure for my therapy is Understanding, Reinforcement, Lifestyle disciplines and Adaption.
